 | In Early 1997 Kenner Announced
That It Would Be Releasing A Spirit Of Obi-Wan Action
Figure. A Figure Meant To Represent The Ghost Of Obi-Wan.
The Ghost? Millions Of Non-Believers Were Perplexed As To
What The Toy Company's Motives Could Be In Issuing Such A
Controversial Plaything. Were They Conceding That Obi-Wan
Was Indeed Dead? Or Perhaps It Was All Part Of A
Conspiracy? But Most Likely Just Another Clue As To The
Mortality Status Of That Crazy Old Man From Tatooine. One
Non-Believer Is Quoted To Have Said "I Don't Believe
That Kenner Or Lucasfilm For That Matter Would Make Such
An Official Acknowledgement Of The Revered Old Jedi's
Status" While Believers Had This To Say About It All
"Finally After 20 Years We are Vindicated. Now We
Have The Official Proof We Wanted Of The Fact That
Obi-Wan Is Indeed Dead" To Which Non-Believers Had
This In Response "Wake Up You Fools. We Should All
Know By Now That A Toy Makes An Official Object Not.
Remember Luke And His Flying Dessert Hot-Rod Skiff Thing
From A few Months Ago?" |
